which mod should i do 1st intake or exshust
Well I have $1500 Canadian to spend on my Z28 it allready has a cam and headers 1 5/8" headman so should I do a true 3" exshust like flowmaster or get a intake and carb?

and also I was looking at the compcams magnuim roller rockers there like stamped steel ones but they have a roller on the tip there is 1.52 and 1.6 I want the 1.6 for the 305 says they are good for 15-30hp
the cost $371 (candian) ouch
are they worth it?

I think youd be best to get the carb/intake. it will save ya some weight, be cooler cause alum. will dissapate more heat, and get great throttle response. get a 600 carb though, dont get the 750. itd be too big.(just in case you were thinking about it) you'll need a normal dist. too though, cause your old one is comp. controled I think.
what size cam do yo ugot in there? a mild cam made for a 350 will act like a bigger cam in your 305, so dont go too big w/that either.

Dual 3" exhaust? On an LG4? Dude, a stout big block doesn't need dual 3" exhaust. A single 2.5" pipe will suit the LG4 just fine. Spend your money on an intake manifold and a cam. The stock quadrajet can work fine with a little tuning. The big restriction in the LG4 is the cam and low compression. Can't do much about the compression, but at least you can put a better cam in.

well jim, he said true 3" system, not true duals. prolly just didnt read it right. I have to do double takes all the time.
as for the compr., you can do a little. take off heads, have them milled and ported and use head shims instead of gaskets. should be able to raise the compr. .3-5 i believe.
he already has a cam, but he didnt say what kind of cam. whats the specs? that quadrajunk is prolly ok for your power level (and alot higher) as long as its working ok. but if its not working right, scrap it and get a holley.

I have no idea what kind of cam it is I bought the car with it in allready I want a single 3" exshust not duals was thinking intake and card I was thinking the Edelbrock performer EGR intake with a 600 or 650 holly or 625 road Demon and also should I port my heads or buy the vortec heads or some other kind

About the heads I would go with the Vortec heads. For $800.00 you could get a set of them. They are like $230.00 each so it would wind up costing you like $500.00 Max!! Go to www.Gmgoodwrench.com and select the dealer Friendly Chevrolet. They sell the heads for the cheapest and they are completely assembeled. I think that would be alot better than porting your heads or so Ive been told. Thats what I would do if I had the money. But its up to you!
