Mini High Torque Starter

I recently dropped a 327cid in my 86 z28. The Problem I am having is The oem starter doesn't have the, how can i say this ump to turn the engine. I have been searching the net for mini high torque starters but have not found exactly what i need. also it has the stock 5 speed. I was wondering if anyone would have a recommendation, is where a person could get a good starter to fit what i have. Thanks for ya'lls time..hehe

Try any of the mail order guys. Jegs, Summit, etc should be able to fix you up.

1000 amps should crank it over pretty fast right? plus had truck jumping it off just to make sure a couple of times. not sure the comp raito. my father built the motor for me. what i do know is i have a bore of .20 over flat top pistons double "camel" humped heads with 202 valves triple valve springs. steel standard 327 crank. 3/4 cam....

if you can figure the comp. raito that would be great. i dont know it. my father may.
