Looking for headers, what do you recommend?
I need headers for 87 IROC so they can go with the cutouts i'll be geting. My budget is $200 and it has to be street legal in California. Any recommendations?

You wont find any smog legal headers for $200, unless you find something used. For your application, I would recommend Hooker's. Just stay away from Edelbrock.
Lastly, do a search on this forum, and the Exhaust forum at http://www.thirdgen.org/ ( where I moderate ). This question gets asked a lot, and you will find lots of good info in previous threads.

As I said, do a search on this forum and the exhaust forum at www.thirdgen.org .
Quickly, its because the spark plug access is terrible, the material isnt as good, they are welded inside the port which restricts flow, and they squeeze the y-pipes together to make the collector, also restricting flow.
