A little help, please...
... hopefully someone can help me out here:
Hello everyone... I'm working on the wiring part of my swap... almost complete. I need a little help...
1. Should I have another wire soldered in to the white tachometer wires to run to the tach in side the car? Or is the signal required distributed throughout the fuse block somewhere?
2. For the cranking 12 volt wire, where should I connect this?
3. I am missing 2 wires for the ALDL port: the tan wire on the C220 and the white/black on the C230. I am also missing the orange wire on the C210. What is up with this?
The wire harness is off a 1995 Z28. I bought a rolling (somewhat) chassis for the swap so I know (or thought) harness is complete with the exception of what I posted in my third question.
I just don't want to plug it up and then something fry or worse... I have everything soldered and used the LT1 wiring harness sticky as a resource. It was straight forward. Big thanks to oneslowZ28 for taking the time to do that -without it, I wouldn't have got this far along, doing my own wiring. I'm pretty much done with it all, I'm just stumped on these few things.
Help...please...

Sorry...
I'm doing the wire harness for my 1988 V6 to 1995 Z28 LT1 swap. I pretty much have it all done besides being stumped on these few things. The V6 is manual, but the LT is auto. I can't afford a manual T56 yet, so I'm using this tranny for now.

Well, after doing some more research... I found out the the answer to my own question. In regards to the missing orange wire, the 1995 C210 didn't have it: here's where I found out. If you click the C210 tab on the bottom, the information was here all along.
I guess the only question I have left is about the tachometer. I should have noticed the: "...this is for a 94..." and double checked before posting those questions
Well... Does anyone know how I should run the tachometer wire? Or is it ready to plug up?
