KIlled My Rear last night at the track!
I was going 4 the 14.9 spot since i had run 15flat 4 times before but i did a little to much of a burnout at the box and felt somthing give but i staged her anyways and 1l2l3lgo and she launch's Hard with No wheelspin at all
and then BAAAAAAM!!! That felt like a train just hit me,And that was that now she's gettin a POsi /and im installing my headers/intake and my little 305 will be 14's all day long, not bad for a 300dollar car ehh
Re: KIlled My Rear last night at the track!
I don't know how you stage, but with a stock rear, ALWAYS pre-load the rear by power-braking a little, it'll remove backlash and avoid "shocking" the rear and breaking parts.

how do you do this? i never heard anything of it...??
I've broken 2 rears in the past, one when I was rolling "back" out of a drive but didn't completely stop before trying to go forward. And the other from going from brake to gas too quickly.
