K&N open air element

KNN-60-1430

Is this the correct part number you guys are using? It drops like 1" below carb flange. It is 14"x3". Thanks. $82 from summit.

I've decided to go with just the K&N filter. Open elements = Hot air.

Pick up a dual snorkel air cleaner.....double your airflow without sucking up hot engine bay air.

I've done all three, and while you are sucking hot air w/ the open element I found it to have the most noticeable difference.

Stock air cleaner w/ K&N - noticeable difference

Dual air cleaner w/ K&N - large difference

Open element - huge difference plus car sounds meaner!

I was able to plop the 3.5 inch filter with a 1 inch drop base.
