i say all that is gonna put him at no than 200 hp at the flywheel. you have to remember that his engine probably has a lot of miles on it. meaning worn out compenents. so the stuff he is adding should put you back up near stock numbers and i decided to be generous with the flowmaster. any performance oriented person knows there are better alternatives cuz flowmaster SUCKS. PERIOD.

No disrepect at all. But no way is he making just as must HP as a stock LT1. I dont have a LT1 but a stock LT1 makes 275 at the flywheel. I think the 232 posted is at the flyweel. I just can't see those numbers being at the rear wheels. But if they are? You are making just as much HP as a stock LT1. I just dont see it with the mods you have. Maybe you have a 5.7? One thing to pay atttension to is the throttle body coolant bypass. It's proven to produce between 6 and 7HP. Another note is all dynos are not the same. All of them are not calibrated regulary. I think this is unfair to those who are paying good money to spend time on one.

To set the record straight on your Dyno Numbers. Are you saying
the 232 and 319 are at the Rearwheels or the Flywheel ?? Some people get confused I expect your numbers are 185 RWHP and 255 RWTQ on the Dyno. That is with a 20% drivetrain loss and that would be normal for your 305.

I've seen a 91 or 92 305 TPI make 210 rwhp with the only mod being "true dual exhaust".

LT1's = 275hp at the flywheel which calculates to ~220rwhp assuming a 20% loss. 232hp at the wheels, which i am assuming his numbers are, is about what I'd expect an LT1 to pull, and thats more than my 350TPI made at the last dyno (pre-headers), but I got beat on hp by a 305 when I had 207rwhp so I won't say its impossible.
