Its got me thinking
I have a 94 z28 now and i was planning on getting a sportbike soon. But something got me thinking, i saw a 91 z28 for sell for real cheap. I was thinking that i could turn this into my "fun" car and hook up a supercharger to it. My question is, how well do these respond to boost. I know the lt1's dont, but how about these?
Need more info on the car. What size engine? Tranny? Miles? Condition?
Are you selling the 94 to get the other? If not, why not use the 94 as the fun car, since it comes with more power already?
It would respond to boost well, depending on the brand. Procharger claims 11's on stock 350 TPI's. I don't know if this is true or not, but the Procharger is one mean *** supercharger

something to think about. IMO running a forced induction setup on stock l98 rotating assembly is not cost effective. The thing being you cant get a powerful enough supercharger or run enough boost through a turbo safely to make it worth the cost of one. The bottom ends on our motors are okay but i wouldnt feel safe running too much power through them. You also have to realize other weaknesses in the drive train. This also implies that you would care if you blew up the motor.
