code 36 and 44.. help

ok.. these 2 codes poped up after my car decided to run like **** for no reason. i was drivign down the freeway, then all of a suden the car felt liek it lost 1/2 its overall power.. i mean it felt liek a v6 (no offence guys). how do i fix these 2 codes? im thinkign the 44 means get a new o2 sensor... but what about 36?

I see them as being related. Your O2 sensor is always lean and your air going past the throttle is high. Too much air and it runs lean. How old is the O2 sensor? Change that and clear the codes. In the meantime, check for vacuum leaks with a can of brake cleaner. If that doesn't work, check fuel pressure. I am assuming you have a clean filter for your fuel. Make sure the regulator holds fuel at the right pressure and that the regulator holds pressure after it is shut down for a while.
