did any IROC camaros have tbi injection??.....on ebay there is a 88 iroc and in the pix it shows a tbiintake/aircleaner......

I believe only the 305.

 

305 TBI was the base engine on the 88 IROC, the 305 TPI & 350 TPI were extra cost options.

 

I would have never thought they would have a tbi....I figured the IROC had the best of everything......tpi at least in 305/350.......I guess the decals on the doors make it go faster in this case.....lol.....whats......the lowest model ....base of the base IROC....a plain camaro with decals on the doors.....

The IROC was a handling and appearance package, not a motor package.

 

there was no Z28 in 88-90
you could get an Iroc with 15" those years

 

When you see an Iroc-z with a 305tbi, basically it's just a RS with the Iroc-z appearance package.

If you go to the link below you can see my Iroc has 15" rims and it came with a 305 TPI. And drum rear brakes.

 

When you bought the IROC package you recieved all the that was included with it regardless of the engine option.
Remember this is GM and everything added was a extra COST option. For example: 305 TPi $690. 350TPI $1150
Rear Disc brakes, Limited Slip rear. different rear axle ratio were all extra cost items and they added up pretty fast. I know because I bought my 87 IROC new.

 

I have an 89 Iroc, and it has an Iroc Z, Z28 emblem on the dash.
