I am installing a hurst shifter on my 84 camaro I have a saginaw tranny (same one as in the 79 camaro) And was wondering if anybody had ever done this before and could let me know what to excpect. I have already had to pull the center console and cut the hole for the shifter bigger, I am hoping I can put the center console back in, but so far it looks like the new shifter will sit to far forward. Any Ideas on how to make it look nice when finished or on how to install it differently would be appreciated.
