Well its finally come time to install my guages i bought. I purchased new mallory guages for 25 bucks a piece. now i have questions. First, were would i route them into the engine bay, i mean where is the easiest place to get them through. Second question is, where can i find a place to put the sender for the oil pressure guage? was it a computer hook-up for the old 305? if so should i just go into a port in the block? the water temp should be easy enough but the oil pressure guage has me worried. thanks. sorry, their both mechanical guages. i can put the water temp sender in the intake port for the old one that ran to the computer since im not using it anymore, but im not sure about the oil pressure sender.

 

With your's being an older model, it probably utilized the port on the back side of the block, next to the china wall. on the driver side of the distributor should be a sender or just a plug that you can remove and hook up your new equipment with. That should do it for ya.
