The car is 11 years old now. A good set of stock replacement springs would be a good investment. Valve springs don't last forever. They lose their temper from all that heat and movement. You'll probably pick up a few tenths also from the change. Normal spring pressure is around 80# closed and 230# open. Old springs can be very bad with 60#/180#. That will make a lack of performance. Since you're going in to change the valve seals anyway it doesn't take much to throw on some new springs.
Since your sig doesn't mention any cam change that's why I suggest stock replacements. You don't have to use GM springs. CompCams and Crane both offer good choices.

That is right I still have the stock cam. I was thinking about putting a lt1 or l98 cam in while i had it apart. Was just wondering what all was invalved in doing that. I read somewere that you can leave the heads on while doing this. I would have to remove the intake and radiator though right?
One last thing i have to pull the plugs out and just got ac delco plug in there now. What do u recomend putting in?

The heads stay on for a cam swap. Rad has to come out. AC condensor can be swung out of the way. Intake needs to come off to get the lifters out.
I run AC Delco R43TS plugs in my race car. You won't see any big improvment from fancy plugs except a lighter wallet. Just make sure they're the proper heat range.
