IAC ?default? position?

Hey all, someone else pulled out my IAC in my 1989 Camaro 350 TBI and screwed with the positioning of it (it was bad to begin with) and when I put the new one in I left the position as it came from the manufacturer and I think this is probably why my car is running like crap. Does anyone know how to find out what the spindle position should be?? Thanks!

Do you have a scantool? If not get one. Read the IAC counts and it should be around 20 - 30 counts. If not, adjust the throttle blades until you get it. After that, reset the TPS for 0.6V
