Drag radials on stock wheels and a looser converter should be worth near a half second.

In that case install the headers and a Precision Industries Vigilante 2800rpm stall torque converter.

I would say gears, but gears for a 9 bolt are pricey. If you do go with gears, go 3.77's since you probably won't notice any real difference going with 3.45's.

Slap a Holley Stealthram on there, about $500 and comes with new fuel rails (you just need to clearance the underside of the hood a tad if you still have the stock hood).
You should see a nice improvement when you install the headers.

Marc's right!

2800-3000rpm Yank or Vigilante torque converter

My advice..no matter what vehicle is: Drag radials+Converter+100 shot=

What is your 60ft time?
Do you have traction problems?

Get a set of lower control relocation brackets(lcarbs) and box your lower control arms too.
Inbolt your front sway bar for better weight transfer.

If you want an extra tenth of a second, put a switch to disconnect your alternator. I did this and it netted me a tenth.
