thanks.

ohhhhhhhhh man. do me a favor. bend over and kiss your *** goodbye. your heater core is shot. j/k its not as bad as you think me and a buddy knocked it off in 5 hours because 2 hours we played around and its was 45degrees and raining out so youll be ok just takes patience
You'll have to buy a heater core, and I'd recommend new heater hoses too because they're probably about shot just due to age. It's not a real difficult job, but it takes most of a day because you basically have to remove the entire dash to get it out and the new one in.
For a temporary fix until you can do it, go the the parts store and get a 5/8" heater core bypass fitting. It's just a little 2" long tube that you connect your heater hoses to so your coolant won't leak out and you can drive the car.

The whole dash
It's a 2 hour job tops if you've done it before, and should only take a first-timer an extra hour or so. All you need is the basic hand tools and a good assortment of 1/4" extensions - "wobble" adapters will save a ton of time. All that needs to be done is to drain the coolant a little - sounds like you got that covered
Remove both heater hoses at the firewall. There is a good chance you will have to cut them off and replace them. Then remove the passenger side lower dash trim piece. From there you can see the heater case. Remove the large plastic cover staring you in the face. Some bolts will be tough! You should be able to see the heater core and shroud. Unbolt the heater core and shroud and remove. Install is the reverse of the above procedure. Take time putting the core back in; the tubes can be a pain to line back up to the firewall. Attach hoses and fill cooling system.
