How much engine oil?

Posting to this forum is fun Finally some people I can annoy with hundreds of questions

And here's another one

How much engine oils (in liter maybe?) do those IROCs have?
Does it make sense to add an oil cooler?

That's it, I'm done

5 quarts or 5.6826375 Litres

They should have an oil cooler already. The oil filter hooks up to a thing that is bolted by a banjo bolt to an oil cooler with coolant running thru it. If you add an oil cooler, it may take even more oil. If you are constantly running hot, maybe use an oil cooler. Usually not necessary. External, that is.

Not all thirdgens have oil coolers. I have only seen them on the TPI cars, and then only on the higher end ones, the 350's and 305's with 5-speeds.

I thought it was 4 quarts? That is what my Haynes manual told me.
