if i were you i'd get a nitrous kit with a 50, 100 and 150 hp shots... for close to $600, your car would be hitting high to mid 13's on a 150 shot. then, if you want more speed, you can start modding the hell out of your car till you reach mid to low 12's with the nitrous kit

ive done more mods to my car but im not going to list them on my sigs yet till i get new times...and ill get new times when i get new tires. my friend's working on a deal for me with a set of y2k c5 rims with new tires on them... the moment i get those is the day im going to run the iroc at the track... give me a few weeks im aiming at something around the corner of 14 flat... if i hit in the 13's, i wouldn't be suprised... my friends setup a race between me and some kid's honda s2000 4 or 5 nights ago that's supposed to be running extremely low 14's, and the front of his car had about maybe 2 feet of space from the rear of my roc at 110 mph and we took off rolling at 10 mph cuz he knew wut would happen to him if he raced me off the hole, lol

get yourself an afpr, fuel pressure guage, nitrous kit, and a helmet i think you'd be str8 with those mods. oo, and get some pulley's too.. i dont think they'd give you as much power on a 305 but it wouldn't hurt to do it

I'm staying away from nitrous for now. As soon as I get the car well into the 13's, then I'll juice it. My plans for the car are as follows:

Vortech Heads
Hooker SuperComps
2800 Stall Converter
Stage II Chip
Pulleys
3.73 Gears
MSD Distributor.
MSD Ignition and Blaster Coil

I think that should put me WELL into the 13's. Easy. Then I'll either supercharge it or spray. Supercharging is really expensive tho......

Run 1/4 tank of gas if u don't have mad traction problems.. if u do, run more gas to put some weight in the rear.

If you or a friend install 3.42 gears out of a 4th gen f-bod, you can usually pick those up for $50.. if you have worse than 3.42 gears, these will help u pick up a lil bit..

I'd lower nittos to 15-17, and try to smoke them for around 3-5 seconds, and launch a little higher.. I was able to launch pretty nicely from 2200rpm in my ls1 with no mods but 4.10s, lid, and loudmouth. The higher you can launch without spinning, the faster you be going

ditto to alternator, sway bar, etc.

If its a 5 speed, altho i wouldn't recommend doing this often.. powershift.. this usually nets me a tenth or two.

ok

1- L98 vette heads
2- new cam
3- headers and y pipe
4- gears
5- conveter
6- tuning and a very very very fast 305.
mid 13's w/o spray

N2o ona LB9 is not a good idea, the rotaing assm. is all cast and will go boom after a few runs.
