how do i remove the rear ground fx piece, I hate rust

how do i remove the rear ground fx piece, I hate rust

im trying to get the little ground fx piece off of the right rear (the little one behind the rear wheel) i took off the two lower screws, but something seems to be holding on, i tried to yank it off at first but then i said woawa i better ask first before i break something worse. btw im trying to do a little pre winter rust repair, thanks

Did you get the two from the inside?

Yeah there are 2 10 mm nuts holding it on from the inside also. You will have to take the passenger side cargo panel off to reach them and for the drivers side you could get away with getting your hand down far enough to reach them.

thanks guys, sheesh i just about nearly ripped the pannel off then, i was wrestling with it rather harshly, hopefully i diddnt damage it too bad, its all rusty under there so im surprised it held up to my brutality.

its on the drivers side, so i just need to take out the little compartment and reach down?
