Help Plz!!!
Help Plz!!!
3 questions:
1. I just replaced my 89 camaro 2.8 liter motor with a carbureted 350 crated motor. I need to connect the Idle compensator. Exactly what wires do I use and how would I connect it cause the compensator only has one prong connection. (edelbrock idle compensator).
2. The coolant sensor connector...where is it on the harness. I cant seem to be able to find it.Is it one or two wires. The sensor I have calls for a 2 prong connection.
3. Finally I added a T56 tranny replacing my T5. I need to connect the reverse lockout wires...Any suggestions as to where or what I need to connect this too....
Thanks for all your replies,
Martin

Re: Help Plz!!!
1. Single wire connector, grounds though the mount/carb/engine. Large gage wire (like 12 or 14) from the ignition (hot). Then you turn the key to on, you want this to activate. And deactivate when you turn it off. This is used to set the high idle when the car is in drive for automatics. Not normally needed for a stick.
2. Not sure, on my 84 it was the standard pass. side sender (in the head), single wire.
3. Simple set up, Hot to + side of solenoid, ground wire to push button, to chasis. Push button can be on the shifter, steering wheel, or any other convenient place.
