HELP FAST PLZ with my ES tranny mount.

I'm trying to install my energy suspension tranny mount and i can't figure out what to do. I got the old one off but the new one doesn't seem like it would work. The OEM one has a bolt down the middle. The ES one does not. I only got 2 bolts 4 flat washers and 2 lock washers in the pack. Am i missing a bolt or something. I assume i'm supposed to use the 2 bolts for the side of the mount but which washers do i use? Plz help me cuz i'm trying to do it now.

What happened to the bolt? You should have two bolts that bolt the Mount into the tranny that came with it. Then you bolt the Crossmember across the Drive Tunnel, two bolts you originally took off. Lower the tranny to the crossmember and you should have one last bolt that came with your mount to bolt the Mount and the Crossmember together. Anyhow, you must of lost a bolt somewhere. That Sucks! Read the directions and see what bolt that was and go to the Home Depot to get a new one.

Good Luck

Well i got it installed last night. It only came with 2 bolts. Thats all its supposed to come with right. I resused the 2 bolts that were in the original mount. I then used 1 of the bolts that came with the mount through the middle. I hope i did it right. It feels more sturdy. My stock one wasn't broken though. My transmission still shakes a lot when i turn. It feels like wheel hop. But the tranny moves a lot. I don't know what else it is. Someday i will find out though hopefully.

Sounds like you did it right. There should only be one bolt through the middle. As far as your tranny, it should be firm. I know you feel the difference cuz it feels really firm when the car is in gear and in shifts.
As far as wheel hop..check your torque arm for cracks or see if its bent. From it being bent or broken, it can throw your rear-end off as far as degree in pitch toward your tranny. Someone told me to check the rear shocks and end links for any problems that may be having too much play that will make it clunk like that. Cuz Ive heard many LT1 rearends Squeeking and clunking from lose or worn rear-ends.
I dunno what it could be that your experiencing and I have heard alot of people complaining about it. You might be talking about what I may be experiencing.
I do know that my rear-end needs some attention. I need Poly bushings, torque arm, new joints and maybe some new differential fluid. Tighten up your U joint and check that peice..uhh i forget whats its called but make sure that peice in between the U joint and tranny is tight. Anyhow....take a look under there and check for split bushing or whatever........

Well i don't know what it could be from either. It only happens while making a right turn. But my tranny moves very violently when it happens. Would the shocks or torque arm move the tranny?
