Did the 3rd gen camaro with the tpi setup come with vortec heads?? Or are they just standard sbc heads with centerbolt valve covers?? I am asking this because i was wondering if the intake baseplate would bolt up to edelbrock vortec cylynderheads? Thanks for the help in advance

 

Standard heads not Vortec.

ok so can i get standard sbc heads from dart or edelbrock or arp with out centerbolt valve covers and use the factory baseplate until i have the money for an aftermarket one?? or wold the ports and bolt patterns not line up? Sorry for all of the questions but i need to know because i am selling my lt1 formula for a 3rd gen iroc and am already planning an engine build up.
