ok im lokin to buy some performance upgrades for my 89 iroc 305 i dont no if i should start under the hood or stiffin up the frames and if i got headers and an intake would they ft onto the LT1 in the near future when i do swap it out

Stiffen the car with sub-frames, stb, and suspension mods first. Don't do an inatke swap if you are planning on doing a LT1 conversion. The LT1 is a one peice intake, so none of the TPI intake peices will fit it. The headers should not be a problem.

Go for the SLP 1 3/4" headers if you are going to install an LT1 later, definetly if you are going to use nitrous.

Get a typical wet single nozzle nitrous system, that will transfer over without a problem.

I'd start with a set of alston subframes.
