Why are you a d*ck? The guy asks a legitmate question and now in both posts you pick him apart like he's stupid.

Get a life.

irocz8957: The picture posted in that thread is exactly right. Just cut it so there's about an inch or so of material below the horizontal part of the "air box." Just run it through a ban saw...it works well. I can take specific pictures of mine if you would like, as it is currently out of the car. Just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

But it's not too difficult to figure out. Good luck.

Well Gentlemen
I take it you do not like replies pointing out your errors in good judgement. And I have not called anybody a "D*ck"or any other names in any of my replies. Some KIDS or PEOPLE just can not take constructive criticism when they are making poor decisions on there cars. For your info I am a original owner of a 1987 Camaro IROC.

Enough said, so just Mod away.

Personally...I don't care what you own...as that is not the issue. Who are you to say what qualifies as a "poor" decision regarding modding a car?

You still haven't answered my question that I asked you previously. How does it negatively effect performance of a 3rd Gen, by removing the baffles in the air box? You stated that it was stupid to do. I said it's only stupid if you decide to drive your car into a river, which would cause a problem whether you had your baffles or not, although the baffles would prevent a fish from coming in contact with your air filters, but it wouldn't stop much else.

Enlighten me as to how or why removing the baffles has a negative effect on vehicle performance...please.

87DJP2001 - You still haven't answered my question...even though you've posted on the board. I want to know what you base these 'facts' on.
