The stock three-piece spoiler is reminescent of the second gen duck tail. This 5-inch piece follows the lines of the second gen three-piece -- actually looks pretty darn close. That's why I like it. I liked it on my 74Z I owned a long time ago.

I'm sure it is an easy swap from the stock third gen smaller spoilers. A lot of guys (including myself) have or want to change over to the high rise. That involves a lot of work on the fenders to fill in those damn holes.
Doesn't seem like much work to change over to the 5 inch.

I hear ya Nick. A friend of mine is the original owner of a '92 Z. He loves the hi-rise. Personally, it's to "ricer" to me but that's just me. I own an '87 and the 5-incher is close enough to looking stock, yet different enough that guys who know the difference would know.
It's supposed to be a bolt-in replacement for the smaller three-piece. The hole locations are slightly different for the stock larger three piece spoiler with the brake light. I know this is fact because months after I bought my new '86 Z28, the '87s were introduced. I like that rear spoiler with the brake light so much better than I bought all the pieces and installed them on my '86. All that was required was to ream a couple of the holes out slightly.

I like it but I think there on crack, Too much $$ Reduced to 250!?Keep going and I'll think about it.
It's called a monopoly. No one else makes it. If you want it, you pay for it. So don't count on the price going down. Frankly I'm surprised the owner of Hawks' is even allowing a GP.
It used to be made by ASCD but that was about five years ago. The price then was $199. I still have one of their ads.

Man I want one so badly but I`m can. so lets see 250 is like what 350 can or more then shipping cost would kill me then going over the boarder I `d have like a 800 spoiler. But I want one so bad any idea what shipping to canada would be ?
