well, i decided to have my engine rebuilt after the headgasket blew. long story short, you know the routine - why rebuild it to stock specs when there is such a huge aftermarket right? Yea 383 eagle kit went in, then what the heck put a comp 270* cam in and clearance the heads for about .530" lift, well lets just say that this thing will look stock, but it is far from it. I was referred to G&G performance in tomball texas, they did a fantastic job. the whole engine was cleaned up, hot tanked mangnafluxed and painted gloss black, built and sent back to Proplus for install, why keep the stock log type manifolds when hedman only asks 200 for headers? god i hope the 700r4 will hold up till i sell my other car and get it probuilt. Ill post pics as soon as i get it fired up, the engine is gorgeous, not something that is chromed out like a heavenly dream, no it's glossy black, sporting the wild looking TPI intake, and a 8" balancer, and im sure one lopey mean exhaust note being the only tale tale signs of a 383 stroker. I'm not sure why she will dyno, but im sure it is a bit more than a teenager has use for!
