Give me Idea's for Future Mods

alright... here's the deal. i ran a 14.5 with all the mods listed below... i had pretty crappy tires, and i ran the 14.5 leaving the car in D because i heard manually shifting it was bad.... then i tried manually shifting and i get off the hole quicker. i want to go to moroso soon, but i don't want to go if im going to stay in the 14's... i want to break into the 13's next time i go, so here's the deal. as of now, i have other mods that i havn't listed in my sig. i took out my smog pump and put a march amp and crank pulley. i also have a new hypertech ignition coil (53,000 volts compaired to the stock 37,000 v). i gapped my spark plugs to .045 and did the spark plug mod (click the link and tell me if it's worth doing, cuz i have to get new plugs soon and i wanted to know if it's really worth it or not). i also ported the blocks in the intake behind the throttle body, and my friend's giving me an air foil for my tb because he thinks i'd be able to put more air into the intake because of my ram air mod i have (i ran a 14.5 with the FRA mod). i also have an AFPR set to 45-45 psi and i just finished ordering a set of 245/50/16 nitto's. i want to get headers, heads and a cam, but im saving that up for when i rebuild the engine (going to stroke it and bore it out somewhere in the 400 ci area). with the items i listed right now, what would you think im running in the 1/4 mile (guesstimate), and could you guys offer some suggestions on any mods you might think of that i could do that aren't internal (i want to do all the internal engine mods, like heads and cam, when i rebuild the engine since i'll be working on the engine out of the car). i know headers aren't internal, but i'd rather get headers when the engine's out cuz i know that they're a bitch to install with the engine still inside the car. if you dont think i'd be hitting high 13's with the mods i listed now, what would you suggest for me to do so that i can hit 13's without a doubt in my mind when i run down the track?

at another note: i want to get that heavy duty trans-go shift kit with the corvette servo and the 1-2 accumulator kit, but i wanted to know how much it would probably cost to have someone install it since im really not in the mood to mess with my tranny, lol. thanks guys for reading this post and any suggestions you guys have

get rid of the pulleys....unless they are stock size. change your coil back to gm and get some suspension pieces.

an airfoil is nice for that last ditch effort but it helps more at high speeds and cars that breath larger. look at some of the higher cfm throttle bodies and they are already built in.

the underdrive pulleys won't gain you enough power to notice anything in your times at this point and will cause you electrical problems that hurt your ignition as well.

tpi needs to breath so the free mods you've done are a good idea like the porting; however your car really needs a good cold air induction and a nice exhaust. between 2 1/2 and 3" is a good range for that motor. other then that a few suspension pieces and some tires you should be there in no time.

also, i would leave the car in 3rd or drive....you shouldn't need to be in 4th to go through the traps and no matter how fast you think you can shift the computer can do it better. just get consistent on your lights.

3 is Drive in my car... 4th would be OD. my car's kinda funny though, it doesnt shift right away when i shift it manually, it shifts when it reaches the shift point. weird huh? lol, i could throw first in, wait two seconds and throw second, and it wont shift till it reaches the shift point

the pulley's havn't done any damage to my car... my idle voltage is fine since i don't have a system in my car. i dunno, but how would that affect my ignition system?

if they are underdrive pulleys you can take or leave them but your not doing any good with them.
