I need to know if all 82-92 camaro gauge cluster have the same plugs. Because I am looking at one on ebay but its a different gauge setup then mine. I need to know A.S.A.P!!!!

The camaro guages are different.

'82-'89 have the dual round speedo and tach gauges

'90-'92 have the "half moon" style.

No, you can not mix the early ('82-'89) and late ('90-'92) guage cluster with the opposite dash, they won't interchange without a full guage cluster swap.

 

What does a cluster consist of? My speedometer is failing, the needle jumps all over. I took it to the local chevy dealer and they put a new buffer in it but that didnt fix the problem... how much would a new cluster cost for my 92 RS Camaro?

I have an instrument cluster available from my '92 RS. It is in perfect condition and shows 48,979 miles. All gauges work properly. Let me know if you are interested.

I also have an instrument cluster from a '91 Z28. It has the 145mph speedo and higher redline tach. It would be a direct replacement for your current cluster.

 

Mine went out about 6 months ago but it just quit working all at once, I got a price quote of $150.00 to have it repaired here... http://www.instrumentclusters.com
Then called a few local wrecking yards and got prices of anywhere from $50-$75 for a used one, I was in a hurry so I just got a used one for $55 at the closest yard. I still want to fix the old one some day.
