Fuel Pump question on a 91 RS

I have a 91 RS Camaro with a 305 TBI. The stock fuel pump is dead and I have a inline Holley Blue pump I'd like to put in but I need to know if it will work with the stock pump still in the tank? What is the best way to hook one of these into the stock fuel line? Is this even possible? Right now I just want to get the 305 running again but I have a L82/350 from a 79 Vette ready to go in it. How much power is a stock pump good for? Might just be easier to go with a stocker if it's good enough to make some power.

Thanks

remove your in tank pump as the diaphram will eventually suck up to the outlet and plug.

So I've been told

It will NOT suck threw the dead pump. Gonna have to get dirty my friend. Its not really difficult just time consuming. You can use the holley blue no problems tho. Just remove the intank pump and replace it with rubber hose of the same length. Bolt it back up and install your holley blue somewhere underneath the most bottom part of the tank (i bolted mine behind my rear drivers side seat) and rig up the fuel line. Have fun.

Re: Fuel Pump question on a 91 RS

Ahhh! Thats what I was looking for! I didn't know what I needed to do with the stock pump. I figured there was a simple solution. So it's as simple as that? Remove the pump and replace it with a piece of hose? Cool, I'm not worried about removing the tank, I was kinda planning on it anyway. It's no big deal really.
I also have a 11 second 98 LS1 I just finished up referbishing the 9" rearend so I know how to do it. I've had the RS a while but the LS1 is so much fun I haven't messed with the RS. I figure since my 98 has almost 1850 passes on it I need to work on my other toy. lol

DevilsAddvocate, Thanks for the info!

Sure thing pal, hope its not too confusing if ya need any further help let me know. Make sure you clamp the rubber hose onto the metal bracket inside the tank so it doesnt fall off. Take it easy.

Didn't say it was gonna go through the pump.
