i have bumped the air to 790cfm from i think 570cfm stock, so more air, more compression, more fire, more gas, new promm.......
i could be way off here but 24lb injectors are being run by people on this site and on others and these can go to 80lbs of pressure.......
i hope i did not overdo it with the injectors and thanks for the heads up.

Re: FUEL PRESSURE 2 high at startup
o.k, o.k, o.k
you guys are right about my approach but remember.....
I bet with ed wright of fastchip.com.
with all my cam specs, my air, and injectors even flat top pistons in the chip.....so if ed is on........................i'm all set, if he is only close i got something.......right now i got scrap metal and alot money shelled out....i am starting to clean up the plugs tonight........
on another note....my motor shop....JIM SANBORN, of SANBORN MACHINE SHOP in washington vt builds a macked out 350 motor to be raced on the quarter mile race track here in barre vermont.........he said i got all the motor my 700r tranny can handle without stalling the motor out....the idea was not to spend another 2,500 on a tranny..........
thanks for all the support i really aprreciate the comments on my little project car, i'll try to remember to take some pictures soon.

Re: FUEL PRESSURE 2 high at startup
I don't care who builds your motor. Unless ther eis something wrong, the problem lies in the control system.
What do you mean it is all your tranny can handle without stalling? When I had the Accel 74219 cam, I kept stalling the engine. Had to adjust the IAC right and also change the torque converter to 500 prm above stock stall. With my cam, I had to get a 3600 stall converter.

Re: FUEL PRESSURE 2 high at startup
well let me start by saying i am only repeating what i have been told by Mr. Sanborn.....
so if i have been led down the wrong road so be it, all i wanted was a car that had some good get up and go. my motor job should of cost me 1,900 but i got it done for alot less than that and it is a 4 bolt main which is not that bad i think.
the motor is idling now a little rough but not bad, the motor needs to seat now and will get stronger and stronger So this is a success........ i'll see how she breaks in now and hopefully i will be real happy.
finished putting in aluminum drive shaft, torque arm, panhard and lower control arms,
my only problem is my exhaust is rapping on my subframe connector so we got to fix that minor problem today.
thanks for all the support

Re: FUEL PRESSURE 2 high at startup
Mr Sandborn probably assumes you understand what he says. I have dealt with many people who say something and assume you have all the answers and you understand everythig once they clue you in. In this case, you have to ask him more questions like "what can I do to the tranny to make it work?". I suspect it is the cam that is responsible for the stalling. I had that problem with the Accel 74219 camshaft. After I changed the IAC setting, it was much better but still a little stalling. Changed the torque converter to a 500 rpm above stock stall per LPE and life was good.

that is correct, he said this is as much hop i can put in without changing my tranny and rear end. i wanted a bumped up motor that had some guts..............i have reinforced the frame with weld on subframe connectors etc....and bumped the suspension with kyb's torque arm, panhard and lower control arms..........i hope she impresses me with a g-force........
