Fuel Pressure

I have a 87 Iroc L98-350 and i have CAI and a cat-back exhaust and a few other bolt-on's. I was wondering what i should set the fuel pressure at. I have it set at 50psi. what do you think?

50 is too high, 42 is normal.
The best setting could be determined by going to the track and making a few runs and and increasing the fuel pressure till you track time start to go down. Start at 40psi.
That is the simplest way, there are other ways but not as simple.

Tpis recommends 47psi for the 87's so i put it on 50 because i have a few mods, MSD, CAI and all the simple bolt-ons. What do you think.

47 might be ok but I'm at 45 and I have even more mods than you.
Bottom line is how does it feel and are you running rich?
Each car is different even with the same mods so what is good for one is not good for the other.

But 50 is a way to give your fuel pump an early grave and if you need 50 psi then you need larger injectors.

stock fuel reg.

Stock fuel system; 40-47 PSI is normal.
Best way to set your fuel pressure is to get one of those lean/rich gauges and go by that.
If your reg is a vaccume port type it will read lower at idel and higher at WOT as long as you fuel pump can keep up.
