Guys and Gals,

I've just started tearing the front cone off my 87 IROC to repair it (the hood didn't fit with the front clip) -- This is the result of an old front end collision. The plastic cone is messed up.. ....

My question is:

Is the front cone the same for all 87 Camaros? (Except for the IROC ground effects?) in fact from 87-89? what years are the same?

My ground effects are in GREAT SHAPE, but the cone above it is trashed out (warped and messed up bad).

Can I just run out to a local junkyard and buy a front cone from a regular camaro and stick my ground effects on it??

The front bumper cover is the same for all 85-90 Z28s, IROCs, 88 Sport Coupes, and 89-90 RS Camaros. In a nutshell, every 85-90 Camaro that had ground effects had the same bumper cover. The lower chin, rear bumper cover and all ground effects were exactly the same too.
