Whats the difference between stock or forged pistons and Hyperutectic?

I got a bad set of TRWs and one of my pistons came apart so I have put new ones in it. I can buy a new set of Keith Black Hyperutectic's for under $200.

What disadvantages would I be looking at. As I understand it all you hae to do is not put a NOS shot on them and you should be fine.

You need to call Keith Black hot line. I believe you have to a certain ring gap to run nitrious or you'll blow the crown off the piston.
This was what I was told from their Techman.

I ran KB's in my last 400 sbc. And they do take a much wider gap on the rings. Broke two of them. FWIW. Any piston can fail, but I think forged is still a better choice if the greater bore clearance is not an issue.
