Flywheel Question

I currently have a 350 TBI Running in my buddies camaro. The 350 is a 2 piece rear main seal. He is running a spec stage 2 clutch. What flywheel will work with this clutch and the t5 bell housing? What i would like is just a junk yard flywheel that i can resurface at my school. So what car do u think i could hit for this piece?

All information is greatly appreciated.

I think the early five speed F cars from 85 and 86 had a two piece rear seal and they were available with t-5's so maybe the JY would have one.

Yes. All SBC's were 2-piece RMS until '87.

Its one of those grey areas in my opinion. I have seen 86 one piece seal engines that I believe were factory original yet I have also seen the odd 87 truck with a two piece seal. Then again I am in Canada and we get all kinds of weird stuff up here lol ;-). However, I would agree with you that 85 and 86 were two piece seal engines as the norm.

The change was supposedly at the tail end of the '86 production year. In my experience, most of the '86's were 2-piece.
