Well the only one thats gonna bolt right in is the 80 series, its the dual outlet one. The 40, and 50 are single outlet for cars with true duals. And honestly I would look elsewhere, you can gain more power and just as nice of a sound from another muffler, the crossflow technology in the 80 series isnt the best. The compete with their single outlet mufflers, but they fall behind the competition with the dual outlet.

well to be honest, im not really worried about numbers, just sound. my grandpa has an old 88 chevy truck with a 305 and dual flowmasters, and it sounds awsome, kind of quiet at idle, but gets louder through acceleration and has no resonence(think i spelled that right) but knowbody knows what series it is. is there any way to tell on those?

Not bad at all......

I found that the 40 series Flowmaster I had before the Spintech had more of a "drone" type sound int the interior.

If it gets too loud....I just turn these up http://1fastformula.com/images/new_speaker_pics_001.jpg

Thumbs up

I gotta question for you: I can't tell from the pic, but do you have one tailpipe? If not, how did you get dual tailpipes out of a single-outlet muffler? Also, my car is lowered (1.8"-drop, Eibach), would that make 3" impossible? I have standard diameter piping now, and a Flowmaster 1-in-2-out muffler and would like to get more of a V8 symphony out back. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

One outlet.......Being I have a Formula, It looks better (IMO) to have the pipe invisible than to have two pipes hanging out the back. Dual tips belong a camaro

I think the 3" exhuast would fit under there....Just make sure you get the 3" manderal bent "over the axle" section of exhaust. MOst muffler pshops do not have a pipe bender that can handle 3" pipe.

If you are putting this on a viper (your sig)....then it wont help that much. Those vipers have a tame exhaust note but ONE BAD BITE!!!!!
