Fix your door hinges!

My doors have been scraping my ground effects and just never closed properly since I got the car. My girlfriend always complained about how heavy the door is and how it never closed. So I took a trip to autozone, got a $5 door pin and fixed the drivers side. It closes like new! I didn't need to change the upper one which requires drilling and a much more expensive part. I reccomend everyone gives this a try! Took a little over an hour. Go get one!

another easy kinda temporary fix of sagging doors is open the door all the way, take a floor jack w/ a 2x4 on it and jack up on the door until the whole car starts leaning over and them hold it there for 10 seconds or so,and let it down...try and shut the door and keep doing this (for a few seconds longer each time) until it shuts better.

i did this before i replaced my whole hinge on the driver door b/c it was wore out.

There is a link I will find. I used the directions exactly and it wors great. I can't get the spring in though, I ran out of daylight. The spring isn't needed though, but it keeps the door from swining out fast and hitting a car if you aren't careful.

All it involves is taking the old pin out, removing the hinge with two 15mm screws and one 13mm, then putting in new bushings and reassembling everything. It makes a thud noise when i close the door.
