Also used a 12 pin weatherpack connector so it unplugs from the dash if I ever need to take it out
That's the kind of stuff that separates the men from the boys. You think like me. I always think about "what if I need to take this apart some day?" or "what if I want to swap this into another car some day?" in the back of my head when I do modifications. I dig attention to (functional!) detail even if it's in a place nobody will ever see.

Kinda like running all the wires in the engine bay inside the fenderwells, out of sight

but THAT said, a put a 750 on it at the track, you will pick up ETs.If you have a 355 with those heads and a 22x and .550 cam, and you are losing power with a 750, you need to work your pump cams, air bleeds and jets. Not that a 650 wont work--but it wont kill ya like you said if you set it up right.as far as more exhaust, i needed 1 7/8 longtubes a long time ago, but i run 3/4 length 1 3/4 for streetability reasons, its really not that big of a difference, so i guess i understand your point on the 650 if thats how you tuned it..either way its a sweet looking setup.props.
I get what you're saying completely, but if it didn't make any more power on the dyno, there's no way it'll make more power on the track. But my 650 isn't stock either, it flows about 700. The 650 made just as much power and it swept through the RPM quicker. Bigger carbs are great for racing Dynos. I could put a 1050 Dominator on it to make some great off the wall peak numbers, but it would take forever and a day to make a pull and the BSFC would suck large. You learn lots of tricks when you get to play with engine dynos. They have a way of making you feel really stupid at times and make you realize that things that are treated as "gospel" in the car world is all a bunch of BS!

They're 3 3/8". I think I posted in your thread

And Pineapple, I have the dyno sheets but no scanner. I can type most of it up tomorrow.
