Question Fan switch delete?

Anyone out there removed the coolant fan switch and just hardwired their fans? I know you can hardwire them, but I am unsure as to if not plugging in the fan switch will throw a code or cause the computer to runn funny-Thanks in advance-

Re: Fan switch delete?

third gen cars have two things that turn on the cooling fan, the cooling fan switch located on the passenger side of the car and the a/c system. i cut off my cooling fan switch wire and was just gonna hook it up to a toggle and ground it to turn it on but its too much of a pain IMO. so now until i get a fan that meets my temp range needs i just use the max a/c on low to turn on the fans if i get too hot, i did the a/c delete so it doesn't affect me any. get a switch that turns on at a lower temp range so you don't have to worry about all that turn on/off junk.
