Enjoying the heat is good WHEN......

YOU DONT SMELL ANTI-FREEZE...........arg........what can it be?? Temp hits a bit above 220........

and yes i am that same person that had the overheating prob b4......*sigh*

well if u have an 86 with the 305 lg4, i had the same motor and mine started to leak to. however mine was a simple fix, the fans weren't coming on, so i just hardwired them to always be on and it solved the problem... if you haven't done so, check to see if your fans come on and at what temp... if they dont come on check the t-stat and see if its in good working order. is the antifreeze coming out of the overlow container or where is it coming from? if its coming from somewhere else it may be a bad piece of pipe that routes the antifreeze, if its from the rad... it might be a cracked rad. more info is necessary, hope that helps some.

Mine developed a pin hole leak in the upper radiator hose that only leaked when hot.

Something to check.
