engine rev

hey i was just wandering what controls the shift points on my car. i beleive i have a 700r trany just wandering how to get some more rpms out of it?

I had mine rebuilt when it got toasted and it is set to shift at WOT somewhere around 6200. www.rosslertrans.com

shift kit. it doesnt really change when it shifts,but how it shifts. it really helps auto. cars alot. and itll make the tranny last longer

Just as long as its not the B&M cheapie deal, or even TCI for that matter. They'll destroy the trans very quick. TransGo is the only good shift kit.

Anyway, shift points can be adjusted with a governor spring and weight kit. The 700R4 uses the same kit as a TH350.
