engine mount swap...

In an effort to isolate my vibration problem im replacing my stock sagging motor mounts with some poly ones (picked up a pair slightly used for 25 bucks canadian yipeeee). Do i need any special tools to do the job? Is there anything i should know about interms of problems i might run into. Any tips from the seasoned veterans because ive never done this b4.

To get the motor up high enough you would want to use a piece of wood under a jack. Put this under the balancer and this should get your motor up high enough to change them. They are a pain though and on my Camaro when I changed mine there were nuts that liked to come loose and roll down in the crossmember. Im not sure though and could be wrong it was five years ago when I did it. Shouldnt be to hard though. Good luck!

Watch the distributor when you jack up the motor.

I changed the motor mounts on my 87 for a v6-v8 conversion. DEFINATLY make sure you dont drop the bolts down in the crossmember, if you do, make sure you have a 9 year old little brother to stick his lil hands all the way in the crossmember to pull them out when you do.
