OK 15 is -Coolant temperature sensor signal indicates a temperature colder than -38° F for 3 seconds.

I live in Atlanta and it was 80 degrees outside how could I be having that error code?

I'm also having trouble understanding how i could have both a 33 and a 34

33- MAP sensor signal voltage was too high (low vacuum) for 1 second when throttle opening was under 2%.

34-MAP sensor signal voltage was too low (high vacuum) when engine speed was under 600 RPM or the engine speed was over 600 RPM with a throttle position angle above 6%.

Any idea whats wrong? Or why I'm getting these codes? Thanks in advance everyone

By default, when the key is forward and the car is not running, the Coolant Temp Sensor will send a voltage that the computer interprets as -40*F. After the car starts up, the temp sensor should immediately be transmitting a voltage that will read the temperature of the coolant flowing over it. If it is not doing that, or slow to do so i.e. "sticking" its a good possibility that it should be replaced. They're cheap anyway so it won't hurt if you replace it and it still does it. If it does still throw that code then you need to investigate a wire thats had the casing rubbed through and is grounding out somewhere. Causes havoc with things.

The code 33 and 34 sound like a TPS sensor problem (Throttle Position Sensor). The key there is that the Manifold Air Pressure was outside the boundaries that the computer was programmed to recognize for those throttle open % inputs.

Conversely it could also be a defective MAP sensor, chafed wire casing on THAT part as well, orrrr... the dreaded vacuum leak. Lots of possibilities. I think I've had every problem known to man with my car. So I have lots of ideas.

Thanks alot RedIroc! Looks like tomorrow Im going to be spending sometime trying to figure this out. You think they sell the temp sensor at an Autozone or like place?

Cool

Yes autozone carries the temp sensors pretty cheap. I bought both of them last year...word of advise though if you can, get the ACDELCO ones - they are better quality. I think autozone didn't carry ACDELCO but you can always check sites like rockauto.com and getting via the mail...
