I'm looking to up the horsepower on my 84 Z28 but I'm limited because of emissions. I'm in California and I've heard we've got the harshest regulations on emissions. Now someone told me that there are some sort of car clubs or hobbyist clubs you can join to get out of emissions. If anyone has any information or insight on this subject please let me know.

its not hard all you do is find someone who will BS an emission test for you. Usually theyll charge a couple hundred bucks but you just have to ask around and hopefully someone will know someone...its usually you have to know a guy who knows a guy whos sister is best friends with a guy that works for someone who knows someone that can do it....or at least thats how things usually work out for me
