Post EGR on Vette Heads

I just read something on the corvette 87-91 heads. It says that the EGR provisions are on the back??? When I put the heads on I didnt notice anything different, and the intake manifold fits fine(from a 350 TPI Firebird not the Corvette one) and the EGR system is all hooked up. Does this mean when I go through emissions it will not pass?

Some please explain a little more to me...

The Corvette heads do not have EGR passages between the intake ports like stock iron heads. They dont have EGR at all. The Corvette intake manifold has the port for the EGR gasses in the back of the intake near the distributor hole. It gets the gasses from a tube going to the exhaust manifold. Also, the middle four intake manifold bolts are at a different angle than your Firebird intake, so I cant see how it "fits fine."

Here's the pics of how I hooked up the EGR with my Corvette heads. I used a TPIS intake, but any aftermarket intake will work.
