ECM Codes decode

OK I figured out how to jump the connector. It 12,12,12 then 36,36,36, and finally 45,45,45 then began to repeat. I looked up the codes in a Haynes manual.

12 = ???
36 = MAF grounding problem
45 = replace O2 sensor - exhaust too rich.

I couldn't find a code for 12. Any Help would be appreciated.

Re: ECM Codes decode

code 12 is basically letting you know that the ecm is functioning. If you had no other codes it would only flash 12

Re: ECM Codes decode

Code 12 is basically just a code saying there is no distributor signal. Normal code that all flash first.
