Dual, Single, Quad.... It doesnt matter how many fans you have on the car. You have to worry about CFM. You can have 10 fans that only flow 200cfm together and it wont cool, but if you have a single one that flows 1250cfm then it will. How many doesnt make a difference its just like a carb or throttle body the more CFM the more air will flow... Hope this helps...

Lates,

Duel:

1. A prearranged, formal combat between two persons, usually fought to settle a point of honor.

2. A struggle for domination between two contending persons, groups, or ideas.

If the fans are dueling, it certainly won't help cooling. They will constantly be fighting for survival so they might not cool properly..

I would say check your ratidator and see if it is full of crud or whether the AC condenser is like mind and has many of the fins smooshed up before going to any fan setup.

I've got dual fans on my 88 Formula and running only one fan with the 160*stat works great for me. in 95* weather, in stop and go traffic, it sometimes gets to about 200*, but it usually stays about 170* most of the time.
