Does abyone make an aftermarket AC flange for headers?

I live in Florida so Im willing to sacrifice a few hp on my daily driver for AC. I went out and bought a new compressor and all but to my horror the AC flange connects by the first manifold bolt. Well I dont have manifolds I have headers and it wont fit. Does anyone make a flange for the AC or am I gonna have to fabricate my own?

The peice that Im talking about mounts to the block by way of that first header bolt and also connects to the power steering pump and AC compressor.

Yes, you have an '86. In '85 and '86 the AC/PS pump were on the drivers side and the main bracket holding them uses the first two bolts of the drivers side manifold. It's fabricated to arch over the first exhaust port. I put in heddman shorties and this bracket was far from right. Not only did it not fit over the first tube but it wasn't even straight. I cut mine with a grinder and made it only use one manifold bolt. Then shimmed it and reattached it using a longer bolt. I know it's not as strong of a hold as the original, but I made sure it was bolted down right and have had no problems yet.

I think that SLP makes a fabricated bracket just for this application, but I'm not sure that it will fit with other brand headers. If I were you and you didn't want to fabricate yours, I would call SLP and see what they say. You can find that part here, SLP Online.

Hope this helps,

Kyle
