Distributor Question

Thinking of replacing my distributor. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as the Accel Billetech go or any other brands? TIA

if the bushings and everything else is worn out in the stocker, might as well get an msd. the msd will also be a better choice for high hp motors turning alot of rpms. not a HUGE difference, but still...

I got a MSD Pro-Billet. I also got the 6AL ignition box while i was at it. I don't have any complaints about the products. Instilation was real easy too.

Mine had the Star-like magnet cracked all up, and it got to the point where it would'nt even start. Worn bushings and roll pin can cause high rpm spark scatter.(a jumpy timing mark)
I got a standard replacement for $99 and change from Advance Auto, complete except cap & rotor.
I'll be replacing the module with an Accel module soon for increased dwell and a stronger, stable spark at high rpm. Same goes for the "coil".(Accel 300+)

what would be a good distributor for a mild 350, but aiming for efficiency? (will see hardly any track time, and no street racing)

MSD wouldn't reccomend a distributor, I asked them for a combo of parts that would work good together for mild performance, with the emphasis on efficiency. "Unfortunately we do not offer an MSD Distributor for this particular vehicle, you may use our MSD Coil P/N 8225 and wires set P/N 31839 You may use our MSD 6A P/N 6200 or 6AL P/N 6420 ignition units."

Thanks!
