i need help figuring out what happend to my friends rs. we just got back from the mall and he parked behind the garage for no more than like 5 minutes and when he went to start the car it tried to turn over like once and then it stoped. . now it makes no noise but the engine fan running no clicking no trying to turn over what could it be? anything that can be tried would be great help TIA

 

Might've just been heat soak. Rebuilt starter solenoids for these cars are real bad about binding up when hot, which makes it hard to start when it's just been driven. Failing that, I'd start looking for loose connections, particularly the battery cables.
