...84 Belinetta,

Wow, Freight is a bunch!... But, you mentioned being a body man?Do you know how to do Fiberglass repair? That hood I mentioned that I have is not being used. Only problem is the corner of the hood is broken off {Hey, guess what happens when you drive off without pinning down the hood?}. It also has holes drilled in the front for the pins..... Bill...

That is the first thing I have heard bad about Cervini. You do have to let it fully cure before you paint it.

I left mine on the car unpainted for weeks but took it off because I got tired of white. I saw no cracks. Quality is better than any other of the hoods available to us that I have seen.

How do I post a pic?

Cervini didn't keep any hoods in stock for my 91. So they made it and sent it out. You have to let it fully cure(usually 3 or 4 days in moderate climates) before you paint it. The resin has to fully harden.

What kind of paint do you use and what kind of work do you do?

A hard auto paint applied to a fresh hood out of a mold can crack when the material cures.

And it was even on a large sticker stuck to the hood. Said not to paint it until it was fully cured.

I am assuming you do body work. If so, that is a small amount of resin you are working with. It would dry pretty fast.

If not, what do you do?
